G.R.I.T.’s mission is to provide local youth with opportunities to develop not only their athletic abilities, but also the character traits necessary for success in life — discipline, teamwork, leadership, responsibility, and perseverance. Our goal is to help shape confident, hardworking, and motivated young adults while allowing them to compete and grow through basketball.
The G.R.I.T. Basketball Travel Team consists of athletes ranging from 2nd through 11th grade from Preston County, Garrett County, Tucker County, and surrounding communities. Throughout the summer and fall seasons, our teams participate in competitive tournaments and developmental events across the region.
We are currently seeking monetary donations to help offset tournament fees, travel expenses, uniforms, gym rentals, and other team-related costs. Our coaches and staff volunteer their time and personally contribute financially because they believe deeply in investing in our youth and our community. Every donation goes directly back into supporting the players and ensuring that financial hardship never prevents a child from participating.
In appreciation of your support, we will proudly promote your business whenever possible. Business names and logos may be featured on sponsored team equipment, apparel, and accessories. Donation receipts can also be provided for tax purposes upon request.
